March is National Film Month in Indonesia, and Whiteboard Journal thought it would be the perfect time to share some of our favorite Indonesian films of recent years. We talk to one of the most honored curators in the country, Jim Supangkat about the development of art curation in Indonesia along with its relation to the nation's history. This is the kind of character that made him became one of the most honored hero of Indonesia. Goethe Institut in Indonesia made a tribute to him with the Aku Diponegoro exhibition. We visited the exhibition to take a look at the history of him and his rebel spirit.
