Vague Releases 2nd Single: Dissonance

Vague’s full-length album 'Footsteps' should’ve been playing on our record player by this date, but due to the troubles in production, the release date is postponed. The good news is they decide to fill the void by releasing the second single from the album. “Dissonance” is a perfect follow up to the previously released single, “Inadequate”. If “Inadequate” introduces the album with a sizzling sound of late 20’s self-introspect, “Dissonance” delivers a searing bark of pure angst. It opens with repeated resentful shouts, “We love our mistakes, we despise regrets”, and it closes with a somber instrumental ending. With such introduction, we eager to know how the rest of the album will catch up. Because sometimes it’s a tricky decision in choosing single for albums, just like how some movies are a disappointment because the trailer is already revealing its best parts. Hopefully we’ll get the album soon to prove that our concern is just a false paranoia.
