In the words of Mr. van der Mijl himself: John van der Mijl, the name might sound foreign yet his native habitat is Jakarta. He grew up listening to the UK underground beat sound, 90's trip - hop, shoegaze, IDM, which eventually led him to jungle, drum & bass. In 2012 this music maker/selector started to explore deep house & bass music and has incorporated them into his mixes/live performances.
