Aneka Ria Sinema

Watching films for other countries always offers a glimpse of the cultures, opinions and storytelling that are different from ours, and Aneka Ria Sinema is a festival that can perhaps offer a bit of insight. Organized by KOLEKTIF, Documentary Dream Centre and Eiganabe (Independent Cinema Guild), Aneka Ria Sinema offers 5 days of films and discussion that is spread in Yogyakarta and Jakarta. This project is a continuation of a series of screenings and discussions that have taken place in Japan. Many of the films available are excellent, with a personal favorite of ours, Yasujiro Ozu, also having his film screened.
