Son of Godzilla

Description:

Nggak sengaja nemu pas lagi browsing Youtube. Ternyata Godzilla punya anak yang mukanya mirip ET tapi versi gendutan. Kejutan tak berhenti di situ, si anak Godzilla ini namanya *drumroll*: Minilla. Iya, Mini-Godzilla. Di filmnya, si Minilla ini digambarkan berperilaku layaknya anak pada umumnya, ia belajar jalan, naik gendong di buntut bapaknya (atau ibu?), juga sering temper tantrum.

Yang juga menarik, di sini alih-alih menjadi sosok yang penuh kekerasan, si Godzilla digambarkan sebagai makhluk yang kebapakan. Salah satunya adalah saat dia melindungi si Minilla dari dua serangga raksasa yang nge-bully anaknya (ngelemparin batu ke kepala Minilla, iya kayak anak gang).  Kapan lagi nonton Godzilla saat lawan terbesarnya adalah urusan domestik?

Maggie Rogers on La Blogotheque

Description:

I’m a sucker for beautiful music sessions and who else is best at making them other than La Blogotheque? I stumbled upon Maggie Rogers’ session singing one of her best songs “Light On”, and honestly it was beautiful.

I smiled throughout the whole video and probably shed one tear. I won’t say anything more because I don’t think I could correctly describe the whole experience, so please just watch it and see it for yourself.

The Netflix special is a reminder to all of us that we have been very ungrateful, and that we truly don’t deserve these three comedy geniuses.
