The good folks from The Wknd recently made a trip to Jakarta to document the local scene by way of interviews and performances, and if you follow the Malaysia-based music publication you’ll know that they will release the Indonesia project through out the month of November. Excited? You should be!

First released is an interview with the one and only Mr. David Tarigan. The first part of “Irama Nusantara – Archiving Indonesian Music” has Mr. Tarigan talking about his Irama Nusantara website, and quite a bit about his experience observing and participating in the independent Indonesian music scene.
