It wouldn’t be an easy task to put a sticker on JB’s musical style and that’s probably a good thing. When he considers dj-ing JB thinks of eclecticism and endeavors to open up musical boundaries to embark the crowd on a new journey. Don’t expect your current mainstream hits but rather gems from any genres that he would have dug deeper than deep! Anything can be dropped from the 70’s brazil jazz soul afro funk and disco to the 80’s boogie and early electronica from the 90’s hip hop house and techno to nowadays beats and balearic nu disco!

His sets are always a musical reflection of what his soul captures from the crowd and from the vibe of the place. Eclecticism is the key when you like music and JB likes to blend all his influences when he builds his set. That’s also why he is equally comfortable in building an effective warm up set as he is in delivering the quality driving tunes during peak time.

JB has been dj-ing for over 10 years and has held the decks in Paris, London, Spain, Phuket,Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, Hong Kong and Singapore where he has settled for almost 7 years now. He has played in the most prominent venues like Velvet Underground at Zouk, Stereolab, The White Rabbit or SupperClub and established himself as a resident at various venues like Blu Jaz, Tanjong Beach Club, Night and Day, Winebar at Zouk, La Maison/Mimolette, Ying Yang rooftop, Kinki Rooftop and many more…

He has also played for various big events like the Formula 1 at the Podium Lounge, Avalon at Large, 1Altitude, the B-Yond parties or fashion shows.He founded the acclaimed Jam Parlour series and co-founded the Doomph! and SoulStrut gigs in Singapore. He is also a regular host on the local internet radio Meshradio and was invited for a live set at Chris Ho’s Taste of Lush program on Lush Radio.
