On March 26th 1987, Nike Air Max 1 debuted and revolutionised the way sneakers are designed and the technology that comes along with it. 27 years later, in 2014, Nike decided to celebrate its anniversary by creating the date as the inaugural Air Max Day. On the surface, it might seem to be a holiday about a shoe that was released in the 80s, but Air Max Day is much more than that. As our way of celebrating, we talked to 4 personalities with a background in the local sneakers scene to talk about the Nike Air Max.
Air Max Day will enter its fifth year of celebration on the 26th of March 2018.
