Explore Umami and Acidity at LocaLAB

Description:
So last weekend I went to Bali to attend the annual Ubud Food Festival as part of Lazy Susan’s “research” for our next issue and projects. There, we met new people, found the courage to go and talk to one of our idols (Charles Toto), learnt lots of things, ate really good food, and countless others. But most of all, what really resonated with me was the “Explore Umami and Acidity at LocaLAB”. Here, we had the honor to take a look at Locavore’s R&D lab and we were presented with their take and/or insights on umami and acidity through 9 courses (plus one off-the-menu amuse bouche) paired with cocktails made from local ingredients. God damn it was mind blowing.

Description:
Shoutout to @Pascal for introducing me to this. If you’ve ever had chocolate dipped strawberries then had a sip of wine, this wine is the magical concoction of that exact sensation!!!!!. It’s fruity, chocolate-y, it’s sweet (and when I say it’s sweet, it’s SWEET). They serve it with 1 big cube of ice so it keeps it cold and also subdues the sweetness as you go along. My favorite part is when it’s melted halfway so it’s not as sweet anymore. You’re basically eating chocolate strawberries but eventually getting drunk. The perfect dessert? YES. Don’t @ me.

Description:
Ga nyangka film box-office superhero sukses bikin mata gue berkaca-kaca! Film ini benar-benar melewati ekspektasi gue. Pace cerita & bombardir visual CGI gak kerasa capek karena dipadu-padankan dengan bumbu humor yang pas, fulfilling character arc dan juga kulminasi epik sejak MCU pertama kali didedungkan. This has been a thrilling journey looking back from the first Iron Man movie, truly a great moment for superhero fan, especially Marvel fan. Go watch this & be very unprepared for what you’re about to witness. I rest my case.

Oh and one more thing: Avengers assemble!
