Europe on Screen is back again with best films of Europe on 29 April-8 May 2016 in Jakarta, Medan, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, and Bali.

The Cut (2014)
Germany

1915 The Turkish police rounds up all the Armenian men. Nazareth is separated from his family.
Years later, after surviving the horrors of the genocide, he hears that his two daughters are still alive. He becomes fixated on the idea of finding them.

His search takes him from the Mesopotamian deserts to Cuba and finally to the barren prairies of North Dakota.
