An archaeologist is similar to a forensic: s/he searches, finds, and proves. S/he is also a “detective of the past’” as s/he tries to find the truth about the past civilization through the remaining ruins. When working, archaeologists stick to what makes sense, not myths or superstitions. Aside from talking about how archaelogists work, this lecture will also talk about the results of archaeologists’ foundings that are related to the future. The lecturer is Mundardjito, a prominent lecturer in the University of Indonesia’s archaelogical department.
