Endgame

by Dwiputri Pertiwi

Endgame is a one-act play with four characters. It is a story of four people, each with their own oddity: Hamm and Clov, the servant, then there’s Nagg, Hamm’s father, and Nell. Each of them has a physical disability. Hamm is unable to stand, Clov is lame in the leg, Nag and Nell can’t stand straight. All four characters exist in an exhausting routine. They are each dependent on the other, each connected in the problem, and unable to escape from this absurd condition.
