DJ Jet Baron is a music selector from Japan who fell in love with the manic sounds of Funky Kota, a music style that is deeply rooted in Indonesia's local discotheque scene. Bringing the music of Funkot to Japan, DJ Jet Baron has taken part in creating a scene made up of individuals who share a passion for the music. Titled "Warp2One", this 45-minute plus mix gives us a taste of Japanese Funkot music. Brace yourself, this is a super-energetic mix!

This one is a bit of a nostalgic trip for me. As I was compiling this episode of Stereo Strange I put The Bouncing Souls "Say Anything" on and decided to scrap the other songs that were in the mix and build a compilation around the song. In high school (hence the name) I listened to a whole lot of punk, hardcore, & ska, and what you have here are perhaps the most melodic of the bunch.
