What's up y'all! We're back again on the third installment of Heartattack with our very special guest Yudhistira (Vague, Jirapah). Apart from obsessing over pedals and guitars, Yudhis is an all-around music nerd, who dabbles his way through different form of musical interest. His exquisite taste in music is another proof that you don't wanna miss his selection. This time, he's gonna show us his profound admiration of early LA hardcore/punk. Crank the volume up & upset your neighbors! The ferocity of American hardcore punk music/scene can be traced back as early as late 70's/early 80's. Since hardcore punk stemmed out of local community, it makes sense that each area or region would have their own identity and sound. This mix focuses on the hardcore punk bands that came out of Los Angeles area around that period. Barefood

Barefood is an alternative pop duo from Jakarta, Indonesia. Their 5 tracks debut album “Sullen” was ranked number 11 on RollingStone Indonesia’s list of 20 Indonesia Best Albums in 2013. In 2014, beside played in some of indie gigs in Jakarta, they also played in Malaysia and Singapore.

Seaside

walking from the feeling of sadness to happiness, or in between; having a small walk with our left foot stepping on a wavelet at the most beautiful white sand beach, and on the other foot stepping on a footpath at pinery in the morning. Seaside is one of five finalists in Converse's Rubber Tracks Jakarta competition, where the winner will win a recording session in Brooklyn, New York City.

Stars and Rabbit

Stars and Rabbit is Indonesian folk music duo, formed in early 2011 in Yogyakarta. The group consisted of singer-songwriter Elda Suryani and musician Adi Widodo. Stars and Rabbit engages a do-it-yourself approach to writing and recording. Their music is a melding of pop and folk influences with raw simplicity of composition, arrangement, and performance.
