As one of the most popular collectible for music enthusiasts, music tees sometime mean more than just clothes. It may contain memories from a specific song, album or even a concert that has a place in the heart of the collector. We invited Bin Harlan, Zeke Khaseli, Shunsuke Izumimoto and Arian 13 (Seringai) to share with us their favourite tees and the stories behind their collections.
With all of its quirks, Rrrec Fest #4 definitely succeeded in making one of the most memorable festivals of the 2014. Great music performances, thought-provoking talks, fun activities, and not to mention, the beauty of the valley itself is a joy to experience. With this kind of thing in the sack, we're really looking forward to being the witness of what the future of Rrrec Fest will offer.
Starting from September 6 to December 7, 2014, Ruang Rupa invited to participate in the 31st Biennale of Sao Paolo. On this biennale, not only did they create artwork for the exhibition, they also shared what makes Ruang Rupa a respected art institutions in the country: their humble approach towards art.
Everything is not as it seems, and stereotyping/judging only by looks is a narrow way to think. Penahitam is an art zine that specializes in “dark” arts, a branch of art that usually stereotyped as petty.
As a part of “Festival Salihara” during mid-September to mid-October 2014, Salihara Community invited Speak Percussion as one of their guest performers. We came to see this Melbourne based art collective performing a series of experimental music composition on a set of uncommon instruments, and how their performance brings out a thought about musical exploration.
