Aku Diponegoro

One of the most memorable quote from Pangeran Diponegoro is: “I decline being a king in the land of Java by the blessing of colonialist”, a blatant declaration of rebellion against colonialism. This is the kind of character that made him became one of the most honored hero of Indonesia. Goethe Institut in Indonesia made a tribute to him with the Aku Diponegoro exhibition. We visited the exhibition to take a look at the history of him and his rebel spirit.
