Studiorama Sessions return with another episode featuring Kracoon (formerly known as CAVES) collaborating with their friend, Tao (who is apparently a green haired mannequin, or is she?). Always a mystery, we see Kracoon covered from head to toe performing Nex Soft in a familiarly brightly colored Kracoon set. Their music and art definitely translate well into the Studiorama Sessions format. Click and enjoy the video.
As the folks in Studiorama are getting ready to introduce their new event concept (Saturday, March 6th at Koi Kemang, foks!) they have invited the three performers (Spacesystem, Kracoon, Jirapah) to collaborate with artists to create a video performance. The first one to be released is this collaboration between Spacesystem and J.Grim. Watch Spacesystem perform Suburban Birds, a song that musically really does evoke images of its name, while splashes of colors projected on a wall and subtle editing create a serene video experience. There is also a short interview in the beginning of the video with the group sharing their philosophy on music and their collaboration with J.Grim. Good stuff, click and enjoy the video!
