If you have read Whiteboard Journal, then you will have noticed that we have been covering news of Anggun Priambodo’s first full-length film, Rocket Rain. After releasing a great concept film soundtrack, those who are eager to watch the film can finally do so because Rocket Rain will have its first ever public screening this week at Jogja-Netpac Asian Film Festival!
The 8th Jogja-Netpac Asian Film Festival (JAFF) is a festival that seek to raise awareness regarding Asian Films in Indonesia. Featuring film screenings, lectures, and discussions, this years JAFF will screen local films such as Soegija, What They Don’t Talk About When They Talk About Love, to International work such as The Thieves, and Secretly Greatly. One of the films is, of course, Rocket Rain.
Anggun Priambodo’s story of family, friendship, and imagination is a treat, so if you’re in the area, be sure to watch the film. Rocket Rain will be screened December 5th and December 7th.
