This if one is for the filmmakers!Known as a program that help filmmakers learn how to maximize their resources and have their films produced, Film London Microschool brings its programme to Indonesia thanks to the British Council. They are now accepting applications (The deadline is October 17th). Those who enter the program will get to have a mentorship program which includes an intensive school and regular correspondence with the mentors.

We are really excited to present the first ever Film London Microschool programme in Indonesia. This is the first chance for Indonesian filmmakers to participate in this acclaimed international programme focused on capacity building for filmmakers and filmmaker teams, and is a collaborative project between British Council Indonesia and Film London.
The ambition for Microschool is to stimulate entrepreneurial filmmaking, and to support film-makers to develop a clear vision of the audience and market for their films. The British Council is commited to contributing to the exchange of expertise and best practice between Indonesia and UK. Film London’s Microschool responds to discussions with key professionals in the Indonesian film sectors to further support the continuous growth of the Indonesian film productions.

Launched in 2006, Film London Microwave is the acclaimed micro-budget feature film scheme set up by Film London with BBC Films, with support from Creative Skillset. 23-27 February 2015: 5-day intensive school in Jakarta
February – April 2015: Post Microschool mentorship
Following Microschool each film team will be given a report on their project from Mentors and the Film London team, with recommendations for further development of the script and package.
Each team will be expected to provide one more draft of their project for feedback by mentors.
