Last Wednesday, they introduced two new footwear innovations, the - running shoes that will give you a second-skin fit - and , running shoes with thin layer so it can mimic the motion of human foot. Another two innovations Nike launched are new apparel technologies in and . Aeroloft will keep athlete warm with the laser cut holes that is body-mapped to maximize mobility and warmth while Dri-FIT - consisting of Knit, Touch and Wool options - is capable of keeping athletes dry and comfortable by moving sweat away from the skin. All these new innovations are led by Nike’s design ethos, an approach combining athlete’s insights and extensive research in their 16,000 square-foot Nike Sport Research Lab (NSRL) at their headquarters. We live in a time where there are just as many music genres as artists themselves, well not quite but pretty close. A new age genre, undefined, is being brewed even out here in our backyard, Jakarta. ’s vision and taste in music are clearly not for everyone, but the fact that his experimentation goes well beyond comprehension must mean he is on to something new, something that we may have never heard before.
That can be decided by you, the listeners, as his sounds as unconventional as they may be is music in it’s purest. Sounds merge in and out with reckless abandon. greets our ears with a rapid high pitch, best way to put it, noise. Pure noise. But soon develops into a melodic electronic synth heavy song for about a minute, and all the sounds came along into one full track. Needless to say, it’s heavily experimented sounds and structure. Marcel Thee, the singer of Sajama Cut just released under his moniker, , as he puts forth an experimental project that explores synthscape sounds and melodies that clash with intent timings.
The result is an ethereal sound that explores mystical spaces within the depth of layers of each song. An audial journey in a seemingly longer 5-song EP as it builds you up throughout songs and the album as a whole. With being the centerpiece of the EP. Fully showcasing the depth that ‘Slow Midnight’ really is, blending nature sounds and majestic horns to create an ominous atmosphere only to be cleared up halfway into the song to a brighter and reassuring composition.

show returns to provide a platform for young artists to contribute to the art scene, locally and nationally. EXI(S)T is calling for artists from different backgrounds and disciplines. The exhibit will allow artists to present their own visualized journey. The diversity of the individuals proved favorable; deep and thoughtful messages were conveyed in beautiful works of art. EXI(S)T continues to promote the art culture of Jakarta and Indonesia in general in hopes to instill the idea that art is important.
Currently the upcoming exhibit is calling for submissions by , 2013 for the scheduled show. Interested participants may present commercial or personal projects.
