Bite – Ksatria (Music Video)

Bite released their May Day album late last year on Don't Fade Away Records, and one of the album's stand out track, "Ksatria" has officially been released online for our viewing pleasure. Shot, edited, and directed Heytuta along with the chalk lettering of Chalk the World, the Ksatria music video is over two minutes of stop motion featuring the group performing their single. The video begins with Rebecca Theodora singing into a microphone, and as soon as a pedal is stomped everything turns into chalkboard illustrations. The stop motion is done very well, with the frame by frame illustration following the band members Rebecca Theodora, Alex Kaunang, Andi Hans, and Febri Menabuh's movements precisely. The concept is quite simple, but very well executed with not one boring frame to be found in the video. A highly recommended watch and listen.

Vol.12

Welcome to the 12th installment of Heart Attack in this busy month of February! Aside from busting my ass at work and also playing music, lately I'm in the mood for heavier and groove-oriented hardcore. Back in my junior high school, I remember this one time when I strolled around local tape store and came across Madball "Look My Way", I think it was released by roadrunner. On the first listen, I was completely floored and stunned by how much groove and intensity that Madball brought to the table. Since that day, I began discovering bands like Biohazard, Dog Eat Dog, Life of Agony and such...which eventually leads to a more contemporary bands like Terror, No Warning up until recent band like Turnstile (nonstop feeling is crazy good!). You know, one thing about hardcore, it's sort of like hit or miss, when you do things right they will come out really dope, otherwise all you get is a pool of generic hardcore bands that try to sound heavy yet failing miserably. Enclosed are some of the songs that has been stuck in my ears, these songs really kick off so much memories of hanging out with friends, going into their practice space and simply loving hardcore. Last but not least, enjoy! Tracklist: 01. Turnstile - Gravity 02. Cold World - The Real Deal 03. Backtrack - Welcome to the Pound 04. Soul Search - Me & Mine 05. Twitching Tongues - Distance Clause 06. Bad Seed - Justice Deserved 07. Stout - Block Watch 08. Life of Agony - Here I Am, Here I Stay 09. Trapped Under Ice - Gemini 10. No Warning - Resurrection Of The Wolf 11. Leeway - On The Outside 12. Biohazard - Man With A Promise 13. Crown of Thornz - Juggernaut 14. Terror - Push It Away 15. Madball - Set It Off

Coexistence with Sustainable Pasar Santa

For a year now, Pasar Santa has become one of the most interesting destination for creative entrepreneurship, becoming one of the coolest new destinations in Jakarta due to its 2nd floor. This popularity isn't without its problems - as more people are becoming interested in the market, the rent prices are set to quickly rise, which may result in the displacement of the older tenants who cannot afford the fee. Sustainable Santa is a movement that want to create harmonious Pasar Santa.
