ADGI National Work Meeting 2015

At the end of last month (Feb 27 & 28) ADGI (Asosiasi Desain Grafis Indonesia - Indonesian Graphic Design Association) begin their national program by way of having a work meeting involving 6 regional ADGI representatives at Coworkinc - a coworking space. The graphic design association has been rejuvenated, and with new purpose they presented their 2014-2016 agenda in this meeting. Present were representatives from the Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Malang, Surabaya, and Bali chapters. The first order of conference was the official introduction of the new ADGI logo and identity (pictured above). Secondly, each chapter presented updates on the condition of the graphic design scene in their region, and their proposed strategies to initiate ADGI programs. As this meeting marks an initiative to reorganize and implement ADGI as an association to represent the graphic design scene, a restructuring of ADGI's membership ranging from organization structure, socialization and business programs, codes and ethics, to human resources were discussed and will hopefully be implemented soon. Hopefully, this ADGI National Work Meeting will mark a bright and productive year for the association. The official website of ADGI will be officially launched at the end of March.
