Rabat is a road movie about three Moroccan-Dutch friends who have to deliver an old taxi in Rabat in a short amount of time. Because one of them keeps his actual reason for taking the trip hidden from the others, their friendship, along with their joint future business plans, is shaken to its foundations.

This movie is the first feature film directed by Habbekrats founders Jim TAIHUTTU (Venlo, 1981) and Victor PONTEN (Velp, 1981). It was produced by Julius PONTEN and Frieder WALLIS. For the past few years, they have been responsible for a large amount of award-winning and successful music videos, short films (amongst which three contributions tothe renowned Dutch short programme NPS Kort!), documentaries and advertising campaigns.
