It would be wise and accurate to label Jonathan ‘Ojon’ Kusuma as one of the modern pioneers of Indonesian electronic music. Through his partnership with Aryo Adhianto they formed Space System, one of Jakarta’s most respected electronic/disco/house/psych groups, which saw their records released on Glasgow’s Optimo Music and Italy’s Pizzico Records. Having had experience in playing metal, punk and electro-disco as well as having a sizeable record collection, Ojon has also recently established one of Jakarta’s best online vinyl stores, Akamady Music.
