This exhibition is created as a form of appreciation towards the artist’s sharp satirical commentary towards politics. In addition, the showcase will be hold alongside Día de los Muertos, or also known as the Day of the Dead Festival. The festival exhibits an altar, la Calaca Catrina, and other festival ornaments.

José Guadalupe Posada started his career as a political cartoonist for a local newspaper with a passion for reading, writing, and drawing. He then continued to be a printmaker who focused on the irony of politics. Acclaimed by Diego Rivera, José Guadalupe Posada is greatly respected for his funny yet powerful illustrations and have succeed in influencing Latin American artists due to his satiric nature.
