Awake NY dan BornxRaised dikabarkan bekerja sama dalam sejumlah koleksinya yang terinspirasi oleh budaya New York dan Los Angeles, tujuan bergabungnya kedua brand tersebut kali ini sebagai bentuk merangkum sekilas bagaimana perkembangan tenaga dari industri kreatif di masing-masing kota metropolitan tersebut. Mereka kali ini merilis berbagai produk seperti kaus lengan pendek dan panjang, pocket tees, hoodies, chore coats, serta celana kerja yang beberapa di antaranya merupakan hasil kolaborasi bersama Carhartt WIP.

Mereka memberi sentuhan ciri khas dari masing-masing brand, seperti jenis huruf Olde English dari BornxRaised yang diselingi motif skrip ala Awake NY. Carhartt WIP memberi andil dalam membuat koleksi tersebut lebih menonjol karena dilengkapi dengan model grafis bordir yang melekat dalam balutan warna cokelat dan hitam. Selain itu koleksi mereka kali ini menampilkan juga beberapa karakter kartun seperti Mickey Mouse, the Little Devil, dan kerub yang sedang berdoa.

Angelo Baque selaku pendiri dari Awake NY memberikan komentarnya mengenai kerja sama koleksi brand-nya kali ini, “I respect the work that Spanto and 2Tone (pendiri BornxRaised) do to support the local culture of Los Angeles, and we take a similar approach to New York communities through Awake NY. As this collection straddles both coasts, there will be two parts to (its) local give-back. 100% of the proceeds from a co-branded Carhartt WIP Pocket T will be split, donated to New York’s New Immigrant Community Empowerment (NICE) nonprofit and Los Angeles’ NELA United for Students.”

Spanto juga turut memberikan penjelasannya, “We created BornxRaised to bring a voice to communities that are being pushed out of Los Angeles, and are happy to see Angelo do the same for New York. By working with charities that uplift the beaten down areas where we come from, we help young people get out from under the weight of economic and societal issues beyond their control.This project will bring some funding to charities that we respect, but on a higher level, it helps us continue to assert ourselves as a voice for the neighborhoods that keep getting pushed out of the way on both coasts.”

Kalian bisa mendapatkan koleksi Awake NY X BornxRaised pada 15 Januari 2021 melalui situs resmi BornxRaised. Mereka membanderol koleksinya tersebut dengan harga mulai dari $44 hingga $299 USD, hasil pengumpulan dari setiap pembelian akan disalurkan ke badan amal yang telah tertera di atas.
