Husband and wife duo whose music and visuals has collaborated in designing T-Shirts with and interviewed by W_Music, and Gimmie 5‘ed by Whiteboard Journal released this limited to 48, hand drawn EP called Heta Beat. a 5 song affair, Heta Beat brings Caves electronic music to the forefront. Starting with the cavernous (no pun intended) stand out track, Gummihedz, a mid tempo burner whose general atmosphere seems bent on implosion. The EP’s sound is seemingly minimalistic in instrumentation and production, keeping the music compact and quite driven with the round kicks, stabbing hats and bleeps. Definitely a great introduction to the group, and the fact they hand drawn all the artwork on the CDs themselves makes the release quite special.
