Leave it to technology to constantly feed you with extensive options and in the end keep you at the an utter state of confusion. But then again, it could be just me being confused as I saw that Ricoh has announced a new release of digital camera, The CX3 Camera features a high magnification 10.7x (28-300mm) optical wide-angle zoom lens, a back-illuminated CMOS sensor, and an enhanced noise reduction function which as well incorporates the algorithm used on the GR Digital III.

The main highlights of the camera includes the new “scene auto mode” that will switch to optimum scene mode and is able preform in low-light scenes. In addition, it has 1280 x 720 pixel HD movie function for those who love recording moments, as well as a high & low luminance priority settings for “dynamic range double shot mode” dynamic range expansion effects. Not to say its a bad thing to have options, but having to weigh my options over a digital camera , this one will be included on my comparable list as I’m curious to try its performance for taking night shots.
