Oh Miss Indonesia, do you know the nightmare of finding yourself in your underwear in front of the whole class? Well, I may forever, suffer from the same traumatic experience as I watch into each minute of your Q & A session. You just never cease to amaze us with your….(insert negative/positive adjective). Maybe, just, maybe your worst date experience of being cheated to three other girls has done some damage to your poor soul. But who am I to judge, maybe you just answer and do things differently from other people, say like driving and hitting the brakes before starting the engine.

Not to worry, though you weren’t chosen as the next Miss Universe we are certain, you have a few promising careers in line for you for example as a comedian (read: pelawak) or to become a stunt cow double, especially with your perfect sound effect of a ticking bomb (wait, that was a sound a rocket?) and to add the very comical scream of the unfortunate bomb victim, I would say your future is not THAT bleak.

In retrospect, maybe Donald Trump, business tycoon and owner of Miss Universe organization was right about one thing, “It is just a beauty pageant” and ours truly, Ms. Qory Sandioriva definitely affirms to the stigma that beauty and brain does not come hand in hand. But I don’t think we should take this too seriously, although yes, she failed miserably in representing Indonesia globally for say…world peace, But truth be told we have many other great things to be globally recognized and proud for, you know, like, you know, err..corruption, traffic, fundamentalist and…oh man are we doomed?
