What’s a name without a face? Hollow, I would say. This is what happens to Maison Martin Margiela. Margiela majority stakeholder Renzo Rosso (founder and owner of Diesel) stressed that Margiela has always been there physically, but not his soul – such a tragic. For quite long time, Martin hasn’t involved with the production, it was left to fresh design team on board. Although Margiela continue to be involved with his namesake label from distance, but will there still any hope for the fashion house to keep maintaining the stability? Is it true that Martin has decided to focus on his Fine Arts background and start painting again?

Oh well, it’s a shock that Martin Margiela walked away from what he created, but he definitely in not the first and only designer, to do so.
