Resembling a house that stayed over the years since the colonial era. This restaurant has eveything written as Dutch all over it, all from the interior to the menu course. Although fit for both dining or just catching up over desserts, the latter of trying their speciality ‘Pannekoek’ became our intial choice. Their ‘Pannekoek’ which translates as pancake differs from the American Flapjacks. In contrast, it is more thin and moist, with two choices of having it served with whip cream or syrup which is made from brown sugar. With a first look of it of resembling French Crepes, this Pannekoek is not as sweet in comparison and it might be preferable for those sweet tooth to add an abundance of syrup.
Slightly quiet and empty, Dijan’s restaurant is a right and charming place to enjoy an intimate dinner with either your friends or your date.
