Times magazine made a photo essay about ‘What Booze Looks Like Under a Microscope’. A lab test by a scientist by the name Michael Davidson results in Micrographs made in Florida State University chemistry lab revealing a kaleidoscopic patterns in popular cocktails. The images are made by crystallizing the drink on a lab slide, then passing a polarized light through the crystal. It then is magnified 100 times. Alcohol can be intoxicating both literally and aesthetically. via Times Magazine
