What I like to do when traveling beside visiting shops and sightseeing, is to visit local music stores. Because you can see how the locals like their music, and you could also grab those imported cds that major music stores didn’t released. If you happen to be around Shinjuku and Daikanyama, make sure you drop by to Bonjour Records store. If you’re into electronic music and indie-electronic bands, this is a perfect music store for you. You’ll find stuff from Kitsune France, local and international compilation and also other electronic music cds.
Not in a mood to buy some cds? Then you can browse their accessories collection such as Nixon headphone, cool books, and electronic-band/DJ tees such as Joakim, Major Lazer and Modular. I ended up grabbing Collete 10 cd mixed by Jamie The XX, Michael Jackson-Jackson 5 remixes cd and PAM Chicago Tee + Chicago PAMMIX 08 cd.
