I don’t know with any other cities, but Blackberry is a very popular commodity here in Jakarta. It has become the new term for handphone for most Jakartans. People here seems very attached with their “BB”, whether it’s for work or fun. I’m sure there are a number of people who are reading this through it right now. Personally I’m still a loyal iPhone user, but i have to say this is an awesome collaboration.

Monocle has teamed up with BlackBerry to produce 100 unique Bold 9700 handsets. They have created Monocle’s own wallpapers for the screens and each device comes pre-loaded with Monocle’s 25/25 travel guides to the best business cities and resorts in the world. The smart phone also featured a special strap. They have 16GB cards and are also supplied with battery, charging pod, world charger, media player headset, USB and gift packaging.
