Adidas’s Y-3 has establish its Spring/Summer 2010 Campaign. Y-3 is collaboration between a Japanese fashion designer and Adidas. As stated in the website, ‘The Y Stands for Yohji Yamamoto, The 3 represents Adidas’s three signature stripes and the signifies the bond between the two”. Where Y-3 proposes an aesthetic form of design in sportswear.

In greeting the FIFA World Cup 2010, Y-3 Spring/Summer 2010 Campaign features soccer star Zinedine Zidane with models representing eight soccer federation sponsored by Adidas, namely countries as South Africa, Germany, Japan, Mexico, Spain, Argentina, France and Russia.  The campaign is inspired by team spirit, the power of soccer and the play of movement as Zinedine takes the lead in disciplining the models, all in the name of sportsmanship.
