I’ve always detested the idea of having patches on any piece of clothing. This, however, is quite exceptional and rather ingenious I might have to say. Design unit FIFT, is a duo husband and wife team, Katsunari and Ami Igarashi. They have designed a Wipe Shirt (13, 650 yen), which works exceptionally well for those people who have a habit of wiping their glasses or practically anything with their shirts. Their basic mission as a designer is to promote interaction between their products and the user, which is exactly what they’ve have done. No edges were cut when procuring material either, using only the finest microfiber furnished by the technologically advanced fabric maker Unitika. A more discreet cuff version is available to hide that big piece of fabric upfront. via spoon-tamago.
