Someone has to start making some explanation or theory about why is it that brands with origins in America that made their way over to the land of the rising sun, never really travelled back. It’s like they bought the one-way ticket, many releases never make the return trip to their native land or in this case, any other land really. Take a look at Levi’s Japan site and you’ll know what i mean, look at the recent introduction of its New Originals range for Spring 2010 the Packable & Adjustable line. The new line consists of denim jackets and jeans with splashes of yellow and red, with each piece sports uniques features such as water-proof material, zip-off pant legs and to be true to it’s name, every piece also has the ability to pack itself into its own bag, making it easier to..err pack? and just plain neat for some of us who has the “Monica Syndrome”. So until there’s justice in this world where these Levi’s got shipped off to more neighbor countries (Say Indonesia?) or at least a size 42, you can only order these through Levi’s Japan e-Shop.
