Kato’s head designer, Hiroshi Katou have taken an active part centering around denim world for many years now. Their collection of denim has been regards to be one of the best local denim products in Japan, with its premium denim material selection and special washed technique. Took inspiration from vintage workwear, the autumn/winter apparel consist of heavy material pants and outerwear. Some notable mentions include the charcoal jacket and pant, the true blue pant and a selection of great pattern shirt.

Under the tool project by Kato, they have three other clothing labels with their own characteristic. AAA is a line inspired by casual vintage wears, Grandma Mama Daughter is a womenswear collection and the le Passe-temps Bleu is a combination of outdoor function clothes and Kato’s philosophies.
