Jokingly, the late Alexander Mcqueen once stated that his early memories of design started when he was by the age of 3 where he drew a picture of a dress on bare walls.  From there on he grew up to be one the most controversial fashion icon in the fashion industry. Mcqueen was recognized for his lavish, unconventional, runway shows which earned him his title ‘l’enfant terrible’ which translates as ‘terrible child’, the other titled he earned was ‘the hooligan of English Fashion’.

In spite of the rough titles given to him, he is still one of the most innovative fashion designers who over 4 times have achieved the title ‘British Designer of the Year’, he has also  proven over and over his success as his works have been worn by A-list artist from movie star Sarah Jessica Parker to fashion-icon/music artist Rihanna.

It’s a shame to see such talent to leave us so soon, In Memory of Alexander Mcqueen we have displayed one of his latest collections.
