Trioscapes is a trio formed by Riza Arshad (pianist, composer and director of the progressive jazz group simakDialog) with bass player Yance Manusama, (senior jazz musicians Indonesia, a member of Funk Section), and drummer and orkestrator Aksan Sjuman – who recently dealt with cultivation of music in film. The trio format is a fairly standard format that is loved in jazz. Trioscapes anchor trio-format music on jazz-influenced the rock in the early 1970s (Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, and experimentalists / Expressionist Frank Zappa), who in time have enriched the movement of jazz music and evolves it to become not just the kind of music but a life style. Subtle funk is the primary color of the type music Trioscapes, although in many instances the color of his music spreads to various other types without removing the element of improvisation in varying shades or her mood.
