In the book ‘Love is a Mix Tape’ the author brings back his past growing up with a compilation of music on tape, which was his medium to express his love to his wife. In a digital world today, where no one uses cassettes anymore, the mix tape has transformed to burned CD’s, compilation gathered in iPods, which are fairly easy to gather with a click of your mouse.

So I find it interesting to see what UK director, Luke Snellin brings forth as he explores the Mix tape as a somewhat a re-emerging phenomenon in this culture in his new short film “Mixtape”.
