Women are heroes, I’m not making a feminist comment here. But Women are Heroes is a 6 minutes film that summarizes the Paris expo created by street artist JR. JR has used the Paris as his canvas by creating portraits of oppressed female subjects – the victims of war, abuse or discrimination – in Brazil, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Cambodia, India, Belgium and the UK, JR is finally bringing all of his work together for the French exhibit. Although the exhibition only lasted till November 2009, his work remains in this following film, that includes the controversial reaction from the Media in Paris. Via highsnobiety
