Annoyingly, I missed the chance of seeing Glaswegian Hudson Mohawke a couple of months ago. Sadder still, he performed at the London Calling festival in Amsterdam -usually inhabited by boring British guitar bands- and refreshed the festival with his futuristic sounding brand of electronica.

Signed to Warp Records, Hudson Mo was the youngest ever participant at the DMC Championships at the age of 15. More recently, his name’s has been popping up all over the place and has been touted by many as Britain’s next big turntablist.
