Typeface is a film that explores the preservation of traditional craftsmanship in a computerized era. An era where we normally want fast-results by the help of technology, whereas in this film, you see the manufacturing of an art taken at a slower pace with the help of traditional techniques. This film might leave you to appreciate the skills of the people behind the manufacturing industry, and will force you to contemplate about the possibility of survival of such conventional manufacturing industry that has been part of American graphic design history.

The film takes place at a rural Midwestern museum in America.
