Some people spent their lifetime trying to be seen while Liu Bolin usually spends up tp 10 hours or more just to be invisible. The 35 years old who was born in Shandong, China, uses camouflage principles to create this amazing contemporary artworks taking his inspiration from how some animals can blend into their environment surrounding to protect themselves. Covered entirely in paint to blend into the surroundings, each installation can take Liu up to 10 hours at a time but he achieves the right effect; sometimes passers-by don’t even realize he is there until he moves. Well it’s like the saying “now you see him now you don’t”.
