One of the most innovative designer in the world today, Geoffrey Cooper, has releases his latest creation, The Geocentric Watch, which in itself is a marvel of craftsmanship. Inspired by Sci-Fi and Science itself, the watch will uses a motion similar to planets rotating around the sun. The small, center dial spins as a second hand, the larger dial shows minutes and its position relative to the outer band displays the hour. The collection of concentric circles is a sexy manner of displaying the time, and the cool, minimal band adds a contemporary character to the Geocentric Watch. So far as I can tell, Geocentric is still in the design/prototype phase, here’s hoping for it to be realized sooner rather than later cos’ I’m sure whoever sport this would have crowds of oohs and aahs rotating around him/her.
