I loves these Swedese‘s bookshelves! It looks ‘contemporary’ cool with a high design simplicity, a case of a good balance in the form/function department. Designed by Belgian Michael Bihain, the Swedese Libri won the Best New Product Design Award at the 2008 Stockholm Furniture Fair, proving that i’m not the only one whose a fans of these bookshelves. The angles of the tilted supporting poles together with the horizontal shelves create and eye-catching style and that gives the Swedese Libri a more open look than any other standing bookshelves i’ve seen. But what’s really cool about it, is that it can used as an solitary shelf or combined with additional Libri shelves alongside against the wall, or back to back thus forming a free standing shelves. The Libri shelf also comes with adjustable legs which are made from solid ash wood, that allow it to be securely stationed on uneven floor. This definitely goes in my wish-list to Santa this Christmas.
