The first thing that came into my mind when i saw this house was the shape of an origami bird. The Klein Bottle House, designed by McBride Charles Ryan, has won the award for World’s Best Home at this year World Architecture Festival Awards. This holiday home features a living room perched on a canopy of trees, the levels are connected by a wonderful stair and central courtyard revealing the house around it. In the end The Klein Bottle House celebrates the country’s traditional beach houses, while still functioning as a practical and useful 21st century home.
