What happens when you put together three Swiss designers, graduates of the university of Art and Design of Lausanne (Switzerland), with ultimately the same outlook and passion in design? You develop something beyond contemporary by the name LIFEGOODS.
LIFEGOODS is a product design consultancy producing awe-inspiring objects, prints and interiors for both publishing and exhibition events. One of their impressive works is the AT-AT walker, which as the name suggests is inspired by the intergalactic four-legged mechanical machine from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.
What it takes is an innovative mind to be able to develop an iconic sci-fi killing machine into a retro floor lamp created with wood (walnut clapping).  This tall, sophisticated, and functional floor lamp was originally designed for the ‘Ormond Contemporary Editions’ Gallery in Geneva in 2009.
