Kendra Gallery was founded in June 2008 and is a brainchild of Bruno L.A. Wauters, who is also an entrepreneur in hospitality, as well as a CEO of Sibelco Asia Pte Ltd. It’s owned by a boutique resort, Uma Sapna,which was co-founded by Mr. Wauters. His passion for art and admiration for the artists encouraged him to set up Kendra as a leading contemporary art gallery in Bali.

The gallery is also a complementary addition to the Indonesian art scene, providing the art community with a new window of exposure.

Kendra will continue to show Indonesian contemporary fine art while also using its venue to show international artist to Bali. This is seen as a contribution to the local artists who do not have the opportunity to travel. The Ebon Heath show was a beautiful example of this.
Kendra continues to refine its focus so as to refine the Kendra Gallery brand.
